One of the authors I like to read is Dale Brown’s Patrick Maclanihan series.
The series begins with Patrick in the Air Force as a crew member in a B-52 bomber.
As the series advances, Patrick becomes involved in top secret projects at Dreamland.
But somewhere along the way, Patrick leaves the service and joins and joins a private company with ties to defense department black projects.
I haven’t read the whole series yet, so I don’t have all the details, but Patrick is seen as a rogue and a bad guy in some of the adventures.
But, I like Patrick; he’s passionate about what he does, very protective of family, and believes that doing what must be done is what matters most even if he ruffles lots of feathers along the way.
Author Dale Brown was in the Air Force himself so the information he departs about the Air Force and their planes and weaponry.
I’m sure some of the events and adventures Brown writes are far-fetched but I truly enjoy his books and reading about what Patrick gets into next.
Patrick’s son Brandon is truly his father’s son!
