I used to live across the street from a lawyer firm. Evidently, they did not believe in minor repairs to their furniture because the things they left out for the garbage collection was some good stuff!
One of them is the very chair I am sitting in right now as I type. An office chair with arms, wheels, and swivels.
I also have the matching chair without the arms. Great for when I try to play my guitar.
The up and down on the chairs don’t really work but that’s okay, they are still good chairs.
But the big coop was the blue four drawer file cabinet that now houses my music! I had to get a neighbour to bring over for me but it solved a big problem of where I was going to keep my music.
All I have around me now are other homes and a 7-11 on the corner, so no more good stuff on the street but it was a good thing while I was there.
