The regular season is over the all the playoff spots are filled with The Chase for the Crown begins next week at Darlington for the Cup and O’Reilly Series.

The overtime finish in the Coke Zero 400 made for some excitement as three drivers fought for the final spot in the top 16 for The Chase.

In the end Ryan Preece won the race and the final spot with Shane van Gisbergen sitting on the sidelines.  He noted that New England beat New Zealand.

Points for the playoff drivers have been reset but with no stage points.

After giving hiss normal 39 car to Andy Jankowiak on Friday night to ensure the packed field would make the race; Ryan Sieg drove the number 38 car to victory in an overtime finish at the Winn-Dixie 250 at Daytona.

It was also the final race of the regular season for the O’Reilly Auto Parts Series with Justin Allgaier handily winning the number one spot with over 300 stage points.
