San Francisco rockers Journey have been making music for over 50 years.  Next month they will kick off what they are calling their final tour.

Speaking on the final date in November – a home show – co-founder Neal Schon said, “I’m sure it’s going to be somewhat emotional because that’s where it all started. I know the audience is going to be off the hook.”

Speaking on the tour itself and touring with fellow rock bands, Schon said, “I’m loving it because it’s the type of show I’ve been wanting to do with Journey. I always felt like even though all those bands have contributed something that a lot of people like, we were much different. I thought musically we could go any place that we wanted to. And so now we’re doing that, finally.”

Band members note that their shows have become multi-generational.
