There were just 27 shows running on Broadway last week, but it wasn’t all bad news. “Paranormal Activity” opened to previews on August 14 and packed the house! The first four shows were complete sell outs! In just four performances, the show brought in $422,256.
“Ragtime” gave its final performances last week and brought in just shy of $2 million at the box office to come in second behind “Hamilton” – the only show to make it into the $2 million club last week.
Audiences are flocking to see “Moulin Rouge! The Musical” before it closes at the end of the month.
Just nine shows made it into the Million Dollar Club last week with “Hamilton” the only show to break into the $2 Million Club. The new school year has already begun in some parts of the country as summer is waning toward autumn…and a brand new season on Broadway.
