The Cup and Xfinity Series traveled to the cornfields of Iowa for some short track racing on the 7/8ths mile track designed by former Cup Series driver Rusty Wallace.

Ty Gibbs became the third winner in three years at Iowa Speedway and moved up to second place, 103 points behind points leader and teammate Denny Hamlin when he earned his second win of the season.

Tyler Reddick’s woes continued with a first lap wreck that took him and Erik Jones out of the race.  Reddick is now in fourth place in the points.

Carson Kvapil earned JR Motorsports another win on Saturday afternoon in a double overtime finish in the O’Reilly Auto Points Series HyVee Perks 250.

Still holding a lead of over 200 points, Justin Allgaier holds on to the points lead and has secured the number one spot in the playoffs.  The O’Reilly Auto Parts Series has just one more race remaining in the regular season – Daytona.
