What is the best purchase you have ever made?

I’m not sure if this the absolute best purchase I have ever made, but it is certainly among them.

I bought my first Kindle shortly after they were introduced.

For me, there was suddenly a whole world of books open to me. I quickly got some books from my favourite authors and took advantage of free offers on books.

I think I have bought five of them by now. As wonderful as the Kindle is, they do stop working after a time.

The apps are nice and keep track of stats such as how many days you have read in a row or how many books in you yearly goal has made, etc.

One of the nicest things about the Kindle is that it lets the reader choose fronts and size of the font; and even how bold the font is.

The Kindle is great for people who have visual issues with the font size option.

And even better, there is no need to haul around a bunch of books. Wouldn’t it be wonderful if textbook companies had a Kindle option for those humongous textbooks you have to haul around???

Yesterday I was doing laundry and like always I had my Kindle – never leave home without it! There was a man there who was excited to see it and how it worked. He said that he was reading this book – the physical book – that had 600 pages in it. He said the book was so big, he couldn’t put it in his bag!

He was going to go and order him a Kindle. I also told him about the app.

He was really shocked when I told him how many books are actually ON my Kindle! Recently, I was looking around for something and discovered that my Kindle has a total of all the books on it…over 900! It also told me how many of them I have read…over 250 of them.

The Kindle is up to over the 10th generation now and has made some improvements. And there are numerous versions of the Kindle from the original model to a Kid’s version, a colour version, and even one you can make notes on it. Some Kindles even allow you to listen to your books.

Image carrying around a whole bookcase full of books around in your pocket – Kindles fit nicely in pockets – or even a small library.

A major bookworm with limited space????
The Kindle is the perfect answer.

Love reading but can no longer see that tiny little microscopic print they use these days???
No worries; Kindle has larger fonts that are easy to see.

Have a job that has you on the road frequently???
Kindle is small and compact, easy to use, and convenient for reading.

My best purchase???? Maybe not the absolute best – will have to think about that – but it is certainly near the top of the list.
