Round one of voting for the 2026 All Star game has closed and it is no surprise that the iconic Japanese player Shohei Ohtani earned the most votes with 3,341,257 votes.

The top vote getter in the American League is Toronto Blue Jays second baseman Ernie Clement.

Earning the most votes in each League, Ohtani and Clement have been named the first two starters for the All Star Game on July 14 at Citizens Bank Park in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

The remainder of the starting lineup will be determined by a head to head vote at each position – except pitcher.  In the case of the outfield, six players are selected with the top three vote getters playing in the outfield.

Voting for Phase two begins at noon on June 29 and runs through noon on July 2.  Fans can cast their votes once every 24 hours at MLB.com/vote.
