The state-of-the-art concert venue Sphere has host a number of high-end concerts since it opened. The iconic venue that reflects its name has been running a semi-interactive edition of the 1939 film “The Wizard of Oz” with a tornado inside the venue and things falling on the audience’s heads.
In 2027, Sphere will get a new film…”The Rocky Horror Picture Show”!
The cult classic is know for its audience participation from dressing as characters in the film to bringing props to the show and singing along to the music.
Currently being designed by Primary Wave Music and 20th Century Studios. Creator Richard O’Brien; it is clear how much further the film will delve into interactive audience participation.
“The Rocky Horror Show” is currently enjoying a revival on Broadway with greater success than the original show.
The film which has been playing in theatres since 1975 stars Richard O’Brien, Tim Curry, Susan Sarandon, and Barry Bostwick.
