The Strong National Museum of Play has a new exhibit opening on May 30: “Take Care with Peanuts: The Exhibit”.
Join Snoopy, Charlie Brown, Lucy, Linus, and the rest of the Peanuts gang as they show how to take care of yourself, each other, and the Earth in this interactive exhibit that promotes “creative thinking, emotional awareness, problem-solving, and collaboration.”
Included in the exhibit is the “Changing Gallery”, the “Kindness Tree”, the “Neighborly Nook”, the “Positivity Rocks”, “Yoga Exercise” and a “Scavenger Hunt”. Exhibit events can be found in the Play Lab and Adams Atrium with the Scavenger Hunt throughout the whole museum looking for Peanuts toys.
May 30 and 31 is the exhibit’s opening weekend and will feature themed activities to help celebrate the Peanuts characters and the new exhibit.
The Strong National Museum of Play is located at One Manhattan Square in Rochester, New York.
Also a part of The Strong Museum of Play is the National Toy Hall of Fame where visitors can find Linus’ blanket among the collection of iconic toys.
