There are film festivals held all over the world showing the biggest and newest films on the market.

Now the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame joins the party with the Rock Doc Film Festival on June 13!

The day long event will feature six films that were hand selected by the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.  The event will also include some rare archival footage, conversations with filmmakers, and special guests.

Tickets including VIP packages go on sale to the general public May 22 (Friday).

The films scheduled to be aired during the Festival are:
“Fanny: The Right to Rock” is about the first all female band to sign with a major record label.  Come learn about the groundbreaking band you never heard of.

“Born Innocent: The Red Kross Story” is about the West coast band Redd Kross who has helped influence punk, college rock, grunge, metal, and indie rock music.  Come learn and experience the music of The MConald Brothers.

Ever wondered what it was like to be on a tour?  See “The Best Summer” and find out what it was like before mobile phone cameras took over the rock concert.  The film features some “found footage from 1995” that includes liver performances, backstage behind the scenes and candid interviews from a tour with the Beasties Boys, Sonic Youth, Foo Fighters, Beck, Pavement, Rancid, The Amps, and Bikini Kill.

“Billy Preston: That’s the Way God Planned it” is a new film on the life and career of the Grammy winning artist who worked with artists ranging from The Beatles to Aretha Franklin to Barbra Streisdand.

“Di’Anno: Iron Maiden’s Lost Singer” is the story of a crowdfunding campaign to help Iron Maiden’s original singer Paul D’Anno.  James Hetfield, Gene Simmons, and members of Slayer and Megadeth appear in the film to speak on D’Anno.

“Eno” gives a behind-the-scenes look at the legendary producer and musician; giving some insight into his creative processes.
