New Wave rockers the Psychedelic Furs had a busy summer planned of touring with Living Colour.
It has been nearly 50 years since the band appeared on the music scene. Frontman Richard Butler spoke on returning to the stage saying, “I think I’m more comfortable onstage now, that’s a big part of it. I’m able to enjoy it more instead being so stressed and introverted about the whole business. I feel confident when I walk out onstage with this band.”
But Butler will have to wait to test his theory…
Without giving any details, the Psychedelic Furs have announced via their website, “Due to a serious medical issue in the band, the tour dates scheduled for spring and summer are being cancelled.
