The “Dancing with the Stars” reunion of Whitney Leavitt and Mark Ballas has been good for business in “Chicago”. For Leavitt, it was a return engagement as Roxy Hart; her reunion with Ballas brought a 30% increase at the show’s box office. Overall, the 40 shows currently running brought in over $40 million last week.
With six weeks remaining in the 2025-26 Broadway season, the receipts are up over six percent from last year and are looking good to set another box office record again this year.
Eighteen of the 40 shows running made it into the Million Dollar Club last week; with the top three making it into the $2 Million Dollar Club!
Back after her harrowing experience, Megan Thee Stallion helped to propel “Moulin Rouge: The Musical” into new box office heights at over $1.7 million!
