Over the past few years, the NFL has sent the annual NFL Draft on Walkabout, making stops in various NFL cities.
The 2026 NFL Draft is set to take place in Pittsburgh – the home of the Pittsburgh Steelers – April 23-25.
Along with all the pomp and circumstance of the draft, the NFL has announced musical entertainment for the event with a different musical genre featured each day.
Pennsylvania native and Hip-Hop artist Wiz Khalifa gets the weekend started on April 23 – the second night of the Draft. Speaking on performing at the NFL Draft, Khalifa said via statement, “coming home to Pittsburgh for the Draft is pretty special. This city raised me, and the energy here is different. Being back with the fans and representing the city in a moment like this just feels right.”
Also a Pennsylvania native, rocker Bret Michaels will perform on April 24. Michaels said, “as a Pittsburgh native and a diehard fan of the Steelers, the NFL and all things Pittsburgh, this is a dream come true.”
Closing out the weekend on April 25, award winning country music artist Kane Brown will perform.
All three performances are free.
On night one of the NFL Draft and national broadcast, the jazz musician KELS will perform the National Anthem with The Heritage Gospel Chorale of Pittsburgh and the James Weldon Johnson Foundation’s National Hymn Choir will perform “Lift Every NFL senior director of global event presentation and entertainment Voice and Sing”.
NFL NFL senior director of global event presentation and entertainment Tim Tubito spoke on bringing the NFL Draft to Pittsburgh saying, “bringing the Draft to Pittsburgh gives us a chance to tap into a city with a deep connection to football and music. This year’s event brings together artists with strong roots in the region and renowned global reputations to help create even more memorable moments onstage throughout Draft.”
Khalifa, Michaels, and Brown will be performing at the Draft Theater next to Acrisure Stadium. Fans are encouraged to arrive early.
