With three more shows opening on Broadway last week, there are 36 productions to choose from for theatre fans.
Jonathan Goff has been playing the role of Bobby Darin in “Just in Time” since the show opened and last week was his final week in the role. Already playing to standing room only audiences since it opened, the show saw even more theatre fans last week and put the show not just in the Million Dollar club; but is one of three shows in the $2 Million Dollar Club on tis week’s list.
Matthew Morrison will take on the role of Darin from April 1 with Jeremy Jordan joining the cast as Bobby Darin on April 21.
Tom Felton reprising his role from the Harry Potter film franchise continues to be a good luck charm for the play who has consistently been in the top five of the Million Dollar Club since it opened. “Harry Potter and the Cursed Child” and “Hamilton” were the other shows in the $2 Million Dollar Club this week.
Nearly 295,000 people attended shows on Broadway last week and brought in over $38 million at the box office.
“Becky Shaw”, “Cats: The Jellicle Ball”, “Death of a Salesman”, Titanique”, “The Fear of 13”, Fallen Angels”, “Beaches”, “The Rocky Horror Show”, and “The Lost Boys” are currently in previews and are sure to add to the bounty once they officially open.
Half of the 36 shows currently running made it into the Million Dollar Club this week.
