It was a wild and crazy weekend for NASCAR at Darlington Raceway with a triple header weekend that featured a double overtime finish and two first time Darlington winners.
Voltage issues, a battery change, and no cooling equipment didn’t slow Tyler Reddick down on his way to winning his fourth race of the season and becoming just the third driver to win four of the first six races. He joins NASCAR Hall of Fame legends Bill Elliott and Dale Earnhardt Sr.
Reddick not only holds on to the point lead, he has increased that lead to 95 points over second place driver Ryan Blaney. After a bad day on the track teammate Bubba Wallace drops to third in the points; but all was not lost last week when he and wife Amanda welcomed a baby girl – Cameren Jade – into the family.
