On day two of the 2026 Milan Cortina Paralympics, 22 of the 79 events have been completed with 18 nations earning medals.
The sled hockey competition is in full swing with Team USA earning a big win over host country Italy, earning a double digit score.
In the Olympic Games both the men and women’s hockey teams earned a gold medal. The Team USA sled hockey team is looking to earn their fifth gold medal in the 2026 Paralympics. There has never been an Olympics/Paralympics where all three teams – men’s, women’s, and Paralympic – from any country have earned gold medals in the same year.
China takes over the lead in the medal count with eight gold medals and 16 overall.
