There are just 100 days before the World Cup comes to North America; but the process the set the field, sell tickets, ensure safety of fans and players, and deal with current events has been anything but smooth.

Tickets for the March 26 semi-final game in Guadalajara are selling for just 200 Mexican pesos ($11.30).
The final game in Monterrey on March 31 are selling for 300 pesos ($16.95).
The teams involved in those games are from Bolivia, Congo, Jamaica, New Caledonia and Suriname.
In Guadalajara, the March 26 game is between Jamaica and New Caledonia with the winner playing Congo on March 31 for a berth in the World Cup beginning this summer.
In Monterrey, Bolivia will play Surname with the winner playing Iraq.
With war raging in the Middle East, Iran is out of the competition.
