It was a bit of a slow week on Broadway with less than a dozen performances in the Million Dollar Club or the 90% Club after storm cancellations; however, there was a bright spot. The new Daniel Radcliffe play “Every Brilliant Thing” still nearly broke the $1 million mark even with a cancellation.
Even with the slow week, Broadway has seen the box office draw for this season top the billion dollar mark at $1.45 billion – even more than this same time last year and there are still 12 weeks in the 2025-26 season.
And over the next two months, 16 new shows will make their debuts on the Great White Way!
Thanks to Tom Felton, “Harry Potter and the Cursed Child” continues to be a very popular draw. The play is also the only show this last week that broke the $2 million mark.
“Chicago” has some new cast members that are peaking the interest of musical fans and bringing in the audiences.
Just nine of the 27 shows currently running made it into the Million Dollar Club last week.
