Attending a performance on Broadway can be an expensive venture but fans of Abraham Lincoln can purchase tickets to the play “Oh, Mary!” for just $5 in celebration of Lincoln’s inauguration.

In Lincoln’s day the presidential inauguration was held on March 4, and this Wednesday is the 165th anniversary of that inauguration.

“Oh, Mary!” has reserved 165 seats in the balcony for just $5.

To take advantage of the lottery, fans must be present at the Lyceum Theatre box office in person prior to the performance.  Tickets are limited to two per person.

General rush and day-of-sales deals will be offered to any remaining fans once the $5 tickets run out.

John Cameron Mitchell is the current “Mary” with John-Andrew Morrison as Abraham Lincoln.  Play creator Cole Escola and Jinkx Monsoon are among the previous incarnations of Mary Todd Lincoln.

“Oh, Mary!” takes place in the weeks prior to Abraham Lincoln’s assassination at the Ford Theatre.
