On day nine of the Milan Cortina Winter Olympic Games, the competition is now over halfway completed with 59 of the 116 events.

Norway becomes the first nation to earn double digits in gold medals with 10 and takes over the overall medal count with 20.

Twenty-five of the 92 nations at The Games have earned medals in the Olympics.

When Lucas Pinheiro Braathen won the Men’s Giant Slalom he not only earned a gold medal for Brazil but gave South America their first medal of The Games.
