Throughout the season, John Tesh’s song “Roundball Rock” has been used when advertising NBA games. The song made a return to the NBA this season after a long absence. The song was used as a part of NBC’s NBA coverage from 1990 to 2003.
The NBA said “’Roundball Rock’ celebrates the NBA All-Star Game’s return to NBC after 24 years.”
On Sunday as a part of the annual NBA All-Star Game, Tesh will get the festivities started with a live performance of “Roundball Rock”.
Tesh’s performance will be his first inside a sporting arena.
American singer Brandy will perform the American National Anthem and Canadian artist Sarah McLaughlin will perform the Canadian National Anthem.
