The Tony and Grammy Award winning musical Buena Vista Social club takes place inside a Havana, Cuba night club during the 1950’s and features lyrics in Spanish.
During the performance, guitarist Renesito Avich added a little Bad Bunny with “DeBÍ TiRAR MáS FOToS”
The halftime show for Super Bowl LX Latin artist Bad Bunny performed his show in Spanish. Lady Gaga and Ricky Martin, who also sang in Spanish, were also a part of the show. The show was a cultural lesson of Bad Bunny’s (born Benito) native land of Puerto Rico (an U.S. Territory).
Inspired by the 1997 album “Buena Vista Social Club”, the musical opened at the Gerald Schoenfeld Theatre on February 21, 2025. The musical brings the album to life which also earned a Grammy Award in 1997.
