I have to admit that most of my “fun” things revolve around music.
And I have a new obsession…”Live from Daryl’s House”.
After binging on the latest series, watching a movie, or a ball game; I turn on some music videos to watch and listen before bed. Not too long ago, I saw a video with Daryl Hall and a piece from one of his Daryl’s House episodes. I was hooked!
For me, it’s more than the performances. Some of the videos include segments where they are eating and talking…about music of course; or Daryl, the musicians, and guest are talking about how they are going to do the song. For me, it is very educational and entertaining.
So every night after watching the whatever, it’s off the Daryl’s House!
This is one of my favourites…
Just listening to music can be fun; especially when it is a live performance.
So is playing it; even if there are practice sessions that get a bit frustrating when trying to figure something out.
Reading is also a lot of fun…and educational. There are a few of the authors I like that I get quite an education when reading their stuff even if it is fiction. Sometimes it takes me longer to read a book because I spend so much time highlighting stuff – history, science, sometimes foreign languages.
And it goes without saying, the few times I get to go out on the water is always a great source of enjoyment. I just wish I could do it more often…and get in the water too. 🙂
