It has been 15 years since the musical comdey “The Book of Mormon” first arrived on Broadway.  And in celebration of that event, the show is offering fans an opportunity to see the show for just $15!

Created by “South Park” alums Trey Parker and Matt Stone,  the musical took home nine Tony Awards in 2011, including the award for Best Musical.

The first lottery drawing for the $15 tickets will, appropriately, be on January 15.  Fans can sign up for the lottery at $15 Ticket Lottery | The Book of Mormon Broadway.

Each month on the 15th, “The Book of Mormon” will make another drawing for $15 tickets (limit of two).  Winners will be send an email with the link to purchase the tickets; good for the following month.  (Example: January’s drawing will be for February tickets).

The musical has other celebrations planned that will be revealed over the coming months.

Entering the top 10 in the history of Broadway with 5,487 performances, “The Book of Mormon” has won the Grammy Award for Best Musical Theatre Album, five Drama Desk Awards, Best Musical at the NY Drama Critics Circle, Drama League Award for Best Musical; and four Outer Critics Circle Awards.
