Tony Award winning performer Levi Kreis has written a musical titled “Already Perfect” and he will kick off the new year with the production making its debut on the stage of London’s West End.

Kries not only wrote the musical itself – both music and lyrics – he also wrote the book with contributions to the book by director Dave Solomon.

Rehearsals are currently underway with Kreis, Killian Thomas Lefevre, and Yiftach ‘Iffy’ Mizrahi.  The musical debuts on January 9 for previews and will have a limited engagement run through February 15.

Set in his Broadway dressing room prior to a show being filmed for the archives, Kreis finds himself at the end of his rope… he is “unraveling, and on the brink of ending it all. When an unexpected encounter occurs, a bit of theatrical magic happens. The walls of the room begin to shift, and what follows is a personal journey through memory, identity, and self-reckoning.”

Kreis earned his Tony for his portrayal of Jerry Lee Lewis in the musical “Million Dollar Quartet”.

There is no word yet as to whether “Almost Perfect” will make the jump across the pond to make a run on the Great White Way.
