“I think I’m allergic to mornings!”, Snoopy.
My sentiment exactly!
I’m more with the two musicians I overheard talking and one said to the other, “call me first thing in the morning…around noon.” Yeah, get up at the crack of noon, I can get on board with that. 🙂
When I worked in food service, I had to get up early….and I hated it!
Now, I work for me and I don’t have to get up when I am ready…mostly. With bouts of insomnia, there are days when I don’t even get to sleep until daybreak.
According to my mother – and she would know – I was a night owl from the word go.
I usually hit the bed around 2am and them read for a while – typically anywhere from half an hour to 45 minutes; but sometimes longer depending on how I feel and whether or not I can even get to sleep. And, then there’s the days when I have almost finished a book and I want to get it done. That can add some time the reading clock.
I always say that I live in the wrong time zone. When I was in Russia – eight hours ahead of eastern time – I didn’t have an issue getting up at around 8am.
It wasn’t too bad when I went to see my dad in California – only three hours behind eastern time. Eight am felt like eleven am.
Yep, I’m a night person; funny thing is…I’m not crazy about the dark.
