It’s Hall of Fame nominee season with the Baseball Writers Association of America selecting the players they believe deserve to be inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame.

And the NFL Hall of Fame has named the players they believe are worthy of the gold jacket and a bust in Canton at the Hall of Fame.

The committee has released the names of nine players from the senior era for possible induction into the Hall of Fame.

Ken Anderson
Roger Craig
Otis Taylor
Henry Ellard
Stanley Morgan
Steve Tasker
L.C. Greenwood
Joe Jacoby
Eddie Meador

These semi-finalists will be pared down to just players before the new member(s) are announced.

Before the 2026 class of Hall of Famers are announced in February as a part of the festivities during Super Bowl week; modern era players, a coach, and a non-player contributor will also be named.
A total of four to eight new members will be announced for induction.
