Oh, Boy!
That’s a tough one!
I can’t really can’t say that I have ONE favourite album. More like, I have several.
My personal CD collection is at somewhere north of 750 CD’s…and that doesn’t count vinyl albums, and all the digital music I have on an ipod, on itunes, and on my phone. Granted some of the music overlaps and are duplicates, but that is still a great deal of music to narrow it down to just ONE album.
Approximately a third of my collection were given to me by artists and press reps; there are also some that were sent to me to review.
But there are some big favourites in all that big pile of music – they fill three five-tier shelves.
I have been a Barry Manilow fans since “Mandy”.
While I missed much of the music from the 60’s; not because I wasn’t there, but because my Dad didn’t allow it. I have tried to make up for some of the loss and am a big fan of Pink Floyd’s “Dark Side of the Moon”.
I have several Sting CD’s, and a bunch by Il Divo. I dearly love Acoustic Alchemy and really like Clannad.
Unfortunately, in my recent move my two favourtie Enter the Haggis CD’s have seemed to disappear…and the band has broken up – not for bad reasons but there are a number of medical issues with one of the band members family.
There is just no way that I can choose ONE album in my collection; there are just too many to name.
