While the Baltimore Ravens and Buffalo Bills were battling it out on the football field in Buffalo; across the state in New York City it was the biggest night in video music with the annual MTV Video Music Awards.

A night filled with music and presentations, the show featured some of the biggest names in music including a tribute to a legend when Yungblud, Steven Tyler, and Joe Perry honoured Ozzy Osbourne.

Lady Gaga and her album “Mayhem” topped the list of nominees this year with 12; Kendrick Lamar, Rose’, Sabrina Carpenter, Ariana Grande, The Weeknd, Billie Eilish, and Charli XCX also garnered multiple award nominations.
