Last week the legendary musical “Mamma Mia!” returned to Broadway and immediately packed the house with 100 percent audience capacity. However, in its first week on Broadway, the show gave only one performance; but if the opening night was any indication, the show will soon join the Million Dollar Club.
Only 12 of the 28 shows currently running made it into the Million Dollar Club last week with the top three reaching the $2 million mark.
Last week 236,981 theater fans spent over $30 million on Broadway.
