Earlier this year, Stray Cats leader Brian Setzer announced that he had been diagnosed with an auto immune disease that was preventing him from playing his guitar; but have no fear he was working through it and would return.
On July 28, The Stray Cats Announced that the guys – Setzer, Lee Rocker, and Slim Jim Phantom – would be returning to the road for a fall tour of the United States; which will include a Halloween Show!
Setzer spoke on the upcoming tour saying, “what blows me away every time is how this music still connects – decades later, it’s just as raw, just as real. We see fans from every generation now.”
Lee Rocker added, “there’s nothing like the sound we make when the three of us hit the stage–it’s high-octane rockabilly, loud and proud. We’re fired up to bring that to fans across the country again!”
Slim Jim Phantom concluded, “HOLY MACKEREL! The Cats are back for a very, special indoor tour. I’m thrilled and excited to be on the road in 2025 with the best Rockabilly band in the world! These are the venues where the Cats sound best and one thing I can guarantee 100%…We Will Rock Your Town!!”
Tickets for the tour set to begin in late October will go on sale to the general public beginning at 10am local time on August 1.
