The Cult has announced a tour in October that is set to start at the Fallsview Casino in Niagara Falls, Ontario for their only Canadian date.
Ian Astbury and Billy Duffy spoke on the tour saying, its “a communal gathering of the tribes featuring sets from Death Cult and The Cult. If not now, then when?”
Astbury was originally a part of the band Southern Death Cult in 1981; but the band broke up in 1983.
Then Astbury and Duffy formed the post-punk goth band Death Cult; which eventually became The Cult in 1984.
