Last week was the final performances for the Broadway shows “Smash” and “Floyd Collins” and is the tradition, the show saw big increases in audience attendance. Overall Broadway box office numbers saw double digit increases of some 17 percent. The 38 shows that ran last week brought in a total of $43 million at the box office with over 327,000 theater fans filling the seats.
Twenty-one of the 38 shows made it into the Million Dollar Club last week with the top four breaking the $2 million mark.
