“Wasting Time” is like the expression “One man’s junk is another man’s treasure.” What one person calls wasting time, to another may be some time well spent.
I spend hours every day on my computer (or other device) but it isn’t just “killing time”; I am going through emails, checking news items, and writing articles.
I enjoy reading and probably it is the closest I come to purely “wasting time”. I read while I eat, sometimes when watching TV, and always at night when I go to bed. And there is also the time reading those news items and working on articles.
While there are some people in the United States government that find reading, in a lack for a better word, “a waste of time”; but to me reading is something essential. How else do we learn???
I am one of those people who cannot just sit still, I have to be DOING something. Even watching TV, I’m usually doing something else; I can’t just SIT. I can sit for hours if I have something to do. Even when I go outside and sit in the swing, I take something to work on; like taking advantage of the sun and do some sewing, or reading, or working on the ipad, or even doing some sort of craft.
To me, the biggest form of wasting time is just sitting and doing nothing. People complain about being bored…pick up a book!

Okay, you have just made a new best friend with your response. I can read all the time. I even wrote my first novel because I love to read mysteries, hence the Bayou Heist was penned. I will follow your blog, bestie!
