It is a little over a month before the annual MLB All Star Game takes place at Truist Park in Atlanta, Georgia and the voting is now open!

Fan voting will help to determine the starting lineup for both teams – American and National Leagues.

Fans may vote up to five times a day between now and June 26 at noon.

In Phase 1 fans can vote for any player they wish to fill the starting spots on the field – minus the pitchers – plus the designated hitter.

After June 26, the top two vote getters at each position – six players for the outfield – from each League will be announced on the MLB Network.

The top vote getter in each league will automatically earn a spot in the starting lineup.

Phase 2 voting begins June 30 and will go until July 2.  Fans will get only one vote per 24 hours period to select the players they want to see in the starting lineup.  Votes from Phase 1 do not carry over to Phase 2.

ESPN will announce the starting lineup on July 2.

Pitchers and reserve players will be selected by Player votes.

ESPN will announce the full roster on July 6.

World Series champion Los Angeles Dodgers manager Dave Roberts will manage the National League team with American League champion Aaron Boone will manage the American League team.  It will be the fourth time managing the All Star Game for Roberts; but it is the first time around for Boone.
