On June 8, The Broadway League and the American Theater Wing will present the 78th annual Tony Awards.  Along with the many  awards for acting, directing, and set and costume designs; the annual awards show will feature performances from several of the shows up for awards.

Included in the performances is the tenth anniversary celebration of “Hamilton” with the original cast members Carleigh Bettiol, Andrew Chappelle, Ariana DeBose, Alysha Deslorieux, Daveed Diggs, Renée Elise Goldsberry, Jonathan Groff, Sydney James Harcourt, Neil Haskell, Sasha Hutchings, Christopher Jackson, Thayne Jasperson, Jasmine Cephas Jones, Stephanie Klemons, Morgan Marcell, Lin-Manuel Miranda, Javier Muñoz, Leslie Odom, Jr., Okieriete Onaodowan, Emmy Raver-Lampman, Jon Rua, Austin Smith, Phillipa Soo, Seth Stewart, Betsy Struxness, Ephraim Sykes, and Voltaire Wade-Greene.

Also on the schedule for performances are “Buena Vista Social Club”, “Dead Outlaw”, “Death Becomes Her”, “Floyd Collins”, “Gypsy”, “Maybe Happy Ending”, “Operation Mincemeat: A New Musical”, “Pirates! The Penzance Musical”, “Sunset Boulevard”, “Just in Time”, and “Real Women Have Curves”.  Broadway Inspirational Voices will also be making a special appearance.

“Wicked” star Cynthia Erivo will be hosting the gala event.
