The 2024-25 theater season has just finished and Broadway has set a new record with nearly 15 million tickets sold and brought in $1.89 billion in revenue.  The figures are the best ever in Broadway; even surpassing the numbers prior to the Covid pandemic.

In the final week of the season – the 53rd – the George Clooney play “Good Night, and Good Luck” topped it’s own record; bringing in over $4 million at the box office.  The top five shows at the box office last week topped the $2 million mark.

Overall Broadway’s 40 shows brought in over $47 million at the box office last week with 21 shows joining the Million Dollar Club.
