As the end of the 2025 theater season approaches its end, some of the shows close down; while other continue to run.

The Tony Award nominated play “John Proctor is the Villain” was set to end at the beginning of July.  With seven Tony Award nominations under their belt, the re-imagined “The Crucible” by Arthur Miller and set in a rural high school in Georgia has extended its run by another week to July 13.

The play premiered on March 20 with previews and an official opening on April 14 with a limited run of just over two months.

“John Proctor is the Villain” has extended its limited run; but as the season gets ready to close, some shows are preparing to bring the curtains down one final time…
