This marks the first full week for the 40 shows on Broadway after the release of the Tony Award nominations.  The musical “Death Becomes Her” showed the biggest jump at the box office with a bump of over $200,000.

The biggest hit on Broadway so far “Good Night and Good Luck” actually saw a bit of a drop after breaking a record last week with a box office draw of $4 million; this week the numbers fell to $3.8 million.

However, it should be noted that with the Tony Awards less than one month away, many of the shows are being heavily comped but still showed an overall increase for a week of $43,501,430 million with the top four shows in the Million Dollar Club topping the $2 million mark.

And the best news for “Good Night and Good Luck”, “Othello”, and “Glengarry Glen Ross” is that they have all recouped their investments.

With just two weeks remaining in the 2024-25 season, the numbers are nearly 20 percent higher than last year.

Just under half of the 40 shows made it into the Million Dollar Club this week with 19.  Not surprisingly, “Good Night and Good Luck” leads the list.
