There was just one penalty issued this week after the triple header weekend at Texas Motor Speedway last weekend.
Officials issued a penalty to the Kaulig Racing Xfinity Series number 10 team. Crew chief Kevin Walter for one race for violating the NASCAR Rule book Sections 8.8.10.4a for two improperly secured lug nuts in post race inspection. The number 10 Kaulig Racing team was also fined $10,000.
Driver of the number 10 car Daniel Dye will retain his eleventh place finish in the Andy’s Frozen Custard 300.
The Xfinity Series is off for the next two weeks but will return on May 24 at Charlotte Motor Speedway. Walter will serve his suspension at that time.
