It was a trip 28 years in the making and after millions of miles of riding all over the United States, the Kyle Petty Charity Ride rolled in to Niagara Falls for their first ever visit to the cataract city.

The ride’s creator Kyle Petty noted that they were a little late coming in after “a bad pit stop”, he added that there were “125 pit penalties”.

But arrive they did in an awe inspiring scene as driver after driver turned into the parking lot of the Doubletree Hotel.

Niagara Falls Mayor Robert Restino was on hand to present a Proclamation naming May 5, 2025 as Kyle Petty Charity Ride Day in Niagara Falls.

While the skies were leaden with clouds that threatened some nasty weather, Mother Nature held off and allowed the fans and riders to mingle and get autographs.

The some 200 riders will the day in the area on Tuesday to take in the sites and view the Majestic Falls before heading east to continue their journey that includes running a few laps on the road course of Watkins Glen International.
