Despite Kyle Larson’s dominating win over the weekend at Bristol Motor Speedway, the Cup Series point standing still belong to William Byron who holds a 30 point lead over Denny Hamlin.  Larson did move up two spots in the standings after the win.

On this triple header weekend, Kyle Larson made a second attempt to sweep the triple by winning the Craftsman Truck, Xfinity, and Cup Series races.  In a repeat of Miami-Homestead, Larson came close in the Truck Series race but swept the remainder of the weekend; falling just short.  Kyle Busch remains the only driver to complete the triple header weekend sweep…and he did it twice.

In his bid for the triple, Kyle Larson dominated the Xfinity Series race on his way to the win; but Justin Allgaier holds on to the points lead by 83 points over Sam Mayer.  While Allgaier didn’t win the race; he did take home a big paycheck when he won his second Dash-4-Cash race and earned an additional $100,000.
