Despite all of the safety measures, racing can be a dangerous sport, wrecks are a part of the business.  For a driver to start 400 consecutive races without missing any is quite a feat.

There have been nearly 30 drivers who have achieved the feat of at least 400 consecutive race starts in the Cup Series with most of them topping the 500 mark.  There are four drivers that have topped the 700 consecutive race start; and one of those fell just short of 800!

This Sunday at Bristol Motor Speedway, Denny Hamlin will join the 400 Club to become the 29th driver to do so.
