Theatre aficionados had plenty of shows to choose from last week with several new shows joining the roster of plays and musicals.
Tituss Burgess packed the house in his final week as a part of “Oh, Mary!”, nine shows had at least 100 percent audience capacity, and two of the top grossing shows brought in over $3 million each!
Just 17 of the 39 shows are members of the Million Dollar club last week with the top three bringing in more than $1 million. Featuring some Hollywood stars, the plays “Othello” and “Good Night, and Good Luck” brought in over three million. The musical “Wicked” continues to be a major draw with over $2 million at the box office.
