The NASCAR penalty report from Phoenix Raceway is short and features only minor infractions.
In the Xfinity Series the Joe Gibbs Racing number 20 car driven by Brandon Jones and the number 18 car driven by William Sawalich were each found to have a single lug nut improperly secured during the post race inspection process.
As a result of the infractions, each team was fined $5,000.
In a change for the 2025 season, NASCAR no longer fines the crew chief but the team itself.
JGR’s number 19 car driven by Aric Almirola at Phoenix won the race.
