The Off Broadway musical “Drag: The Musical” has set the date for a final performance as a stint in London’s West End.

Producers call the show, “a celebration of community, self-expression, and unapologetic joy” and have named April 27 as the date for the final performance.  By the time it choses, the show   After just 24 previews, “Drag: The Musical” will close after just 215 shows.

Producers Tomas Costanza, Scott Prisand, and Matthew Weaver noted “the love and enthusiasm from the audiences, critics, and the incredible talent on and off stage have made this journey unforgettable. While our time in New York is coming to a close, this is just the beginning for Drag. The wigs have been fluffed, the heels have been raised, and the world is ready for more! Stay tuned—because honey, we’re not done yet.”

“Drag: The Musical” is not far from one of the popular Rusicals seen on “RuPaul’s Drag Race”.  And no wonder, the show’s creator is none other than Alaska, Tomas Costanza, and Ashley Gordon.  It tells the story of two rival drag bars as the battle for business…and survival.  Spencer Liff is the show’s director and choreographer.
