This weekend members of NASCAR will gather in Charlotte, North Carolina to induct a new class into the NASCAR Hall of Fame.

The interactive Hall of Fame is a museum dedicated to the history of NASCAR with high tech hands on exhibits, a theater, and a gear shop to help honour the legends and icons of NASCAR.

Like many sporting halls of fame, potential members become eligible five years after retirement from NASCAR.

Since its opening in 2010, the Hall of Fame has inducted a total of 64 members.
