It’s less than three weeks before the official beginning of NASCAR’s 2025 season. There are still some teams putting their crews together.
Richard Childress has announced that Kasey Kahne is returning to NASCAR in the Xfinity Series. His first race will be at Rockingham in April. Driving the number 33 Hendrickscars.com car, it will be Kahne’s first time in NASCAR since 2018.
The April 19 race will be the first NASCAR at Rockingham since 2013.
Kahne won at Rockingham in 2012 as a part of the Craftsman Truck Series.
The 18 time winner Kasey Kahne retired from driving in NASCAR at the end of the 2018 season, citing health issues. But he shortly returned to racing full time racing sprint cars. This year he will be driving full time on the High Limit Racing circuit.
