After a week of racing on the dirt at the Tulsa Expo Square at the 49th annual Tulsa Shootout, it came down to a photo finish to determine the overall winner.  Cup Series drivers Christoper Bell and Kyle Larson took it down to the wire with Bell edging out to take the Golden Driller trophy of the non-wing outlaw race.

This is the fourth win for the Oklahoma native.

A driver for Joe Gibbs Racing, Bell was previously prohibited from running in the race while at JGR.  Gibbs suspended the ruling last year which allowed Bell to be one of the drivers participating in the 2025 Tulsa Shootout.

After thanking Joe Gibbs, Bell said, “Oh my gosh, man. I live for moments like that. Driving these race cars, especially here at Tulsa, there’s nothing else like it.”

However, Kyle Larson is not going home empty handed…He took home the Golden Driller trophies for winning the winged outlaw feature and winged micro sprint A-main.

Bell and Larson will meet up again in the Chili Bowl before they face off each week in the Cup Series.

In the next generation…Brexton Busch brings home a Golden Driller of his own.
